Nobody is too young or too old to make a difference in the world!

Every purchase from Eavara supports “Dream of a Better World.” This worthy cause was co-founded by three children who had a desire to help other kids and make the world a better place. They have raised money to promote the understanding that you are never too young or too old to make a difference in the world.

In October of 2007, Diane Button, the mother of three, was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Her children came up with the idea that "You’re never too young, or too old, to dream of a better world" and began to raise money for a cure for breast cancer. “We were motivated because of how hard it was for us to get through cancer with my mom, so we wanted to help people who were going through a tough time.” Since then, they have focused their efforts on very needy children and families, raising money for orphanages in Africa, Mexico and giving scholarships locally in Hawaii and to needy families around the United States.   They are blogging and tweeting for awareness and fundraising. You can see more of what they are doing at: or tweet them @ItsOurTurnNow.

In 2010, Dream of a Better World became recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Since its inception, the Dream Team kids have helped orphanages in Africa and Mexico, canned food drives, rescue abused, abandoned and forgotten animals, they make the holidays a little brighter for the wounded, disabled, and ill soldiers and their families living at Fisher House at Tripler Hospital in Hawaii.  And always, they help families going through cancer treatment and other rare illnesses along with activities for children with deployed military parents and a variety of scholarships for needy families and children.

The Dream Team became involved in HIV/AIDs during one member’s trip to Africa with her father, where she volunteered at an orphanage and became particularly attached to an HIV+ infant named Moses.

Since that time, Dream of a Better World has partnered with the Our Own Home orphanage to support the HIV/AIDS orphans in Jinja, Uganda.
